Apifluva-Pro is a Fluvalinate based varroa mite treatment, designed as a fast acting solution to eliminate mites and maintain hive health. They are made with a high concentration solution allowing for a reduced save strip, making them easy to install in the hive and ideal for nucs.
Each package contains two separately sealed packs of 20 strips. Giving a total of 40 strips, each measuring 2cm x 21cm
Providing a single treatment to 40 hives OR 80 nucs.
Dosage / instructions:
Tear the strip in half along the designated line.
Use a 1/2 strip for 4 frame hive / Nuc, placed between brood frames
OR
1 strip for 8 - 10 frame hives. Placing each half evenly across the hive, e.g one between frames 2+3 and the other between frames 5+6.
Replace the strip after 7 days
Repeat for a total of 3 treatments making up a complete course.
Product usage requirements:
- Expiry 4 years after manufacture
- Product not to be used in temperatures above 35 deg or below 15 deg
- Should not be placed in a hive for greater than 6 weeks
- Not to be used in conjunction with Alkaline based medicines or pollens supplements.
- Protective gloves and mask should be worn
- Do not use this product during honey flows
- Contents of the package should be utilised once opened
