Doctor Bee are high strength fluvalinate strips designed to be cut in half allowing for budget treatments to larger apiaries. They have proven to be extremely effective in the elimination of varroa mites within the hive, immediately noticeable after first treatment.
Each pack contains 20 strips, that once halved will provide 40 treatments.
Directions:
Cut strip in half. Only a single half strip is required to treat a 8 - 10 frame hive.
Hang between centre brood frames
Replace strip after 2 weeks
3 treatments are required for a full course.
Requirements:
Trial for 2 days on a few hives to ensure no adverse reactions before treating entire apiary.
If strips appear wet to touch, air dry in the shade before placing them in the hive. They shouldn't be sticky to touch.
Use only when temperature predominately ranges between 15 - 35 deg C.
Do not use during honey flow
Not to be used for more than 8 weeks at a time.
Contents expiry is 4 years from manufacture
