Manhao Pro consists of 40 high strength pieces which are to be cut in half to provide 80 strips for use. They then act as effectively as the other fluvalinate strips widely used for the control of Varroa mites.
Directions of use:
Cut strip in half as per picture.
For 1 - 4 frame hives only a single 1/2 strip is require, placed between the centre brood frames
For 8 - 12 frame hives, 2x 1/2 strips are required. Distribute these across the brood box placing one between frames 3&4 and the other between frames 6&7.
Replace strips after 2 weeks
3 treatments make up a complete course
Requirements:
Trial for 2 days on a few hives to ensure no adverse reactions before treating entire apiary.
If strips appear wet to touch, air dry in the shade before placing them in the hive. They shouldn't be sticky to touch.
Use only when temperature predominately ranges between 15 - 35 deg C.
Do not use during honey flow
Not to be used for more than 8 weeks at a time.
