20 pack of Fluvalinate strips for the treatment and detection of varroa mites. These provide an economical solution to varroa mites by its active ingredient Tau-Fluvalinate eliminating mites with great effect. These are approved for use within Australia.
Directions for use:
Remove strip from packaging.
For 8 - 12 frame hives hang 2 strips between frames in the brood chamber so they are within the path of the bees.
Replace the strips after 2 weeks
3 treatments make up a complete course
Product usage requirements:
Trial for 2 days on a few hives to ensure no adverse reactions before treating entire apiary.
If strips appear wet to touch, air dry in the shade before placing them in the hive. They shouldn't be sticky to touch.
Use only when temperature predominately ranges between 15 - 35 deg C.
Do not use during honey flow
Not to be used for more than 8 weeks at a time.
Contents expiry is 4 years from manufacture
